The largest robot cheerleading squad comprises 100 Pepper humanoid robots, formed by SoftBank Robotics and Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS, and made its debut at the Nippon Professional Baseball league match in Fukuoka city, Fukuoka, Japan on 26 March 2021.

This innovation was planned as a new support style for watching baseball games, which was restricted by the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
